Biography

Postmodern Jukebox, a collective formed in 2011 by Scott Bradlee in Astoria, Queens, gained initial viral success in 2009 through a ragtime medley of 80s hits. Their debut single was "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, released in 2012 and performed by Robyn Adele Anderson. The group's first album, Introducing Postmodern Jukebox, reached number eight on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. Notable performances include appearances on ABC’s Good Morning America with "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus. The group has featured various vocalists, including Shoshana Bean and Sara Niemietz, who contributed to their extensive repertoire of jazz and swing adaptations. Postmodern Jukebox maintains a strong online presence with over 1.859 billion views on YouTube.
