Australian dance trio Pnau, originates from Sydney, Australia, comprising singer/producer Nick Littlemore, guitarist/producer Peter Mayes and songwriter/producer Sam Littlemore. Bursting onto the scene in 1999, the group enjoyed considerable success with top 40 albums Sambanova (1999) (earning the Best Dance Album at the 2000 ARIA awards), Pnau (2007) and Soft Universe (2011). Collaborating with Elton John in 2012 for the remix album Good Morning to the Night, which reached Number 1 in the UK, they became known globally for the remix of John's single âCold Heartâ which charted in nine countries and was certified 7 x Platinum in Australia. The 2017 record Changa landed the trio at number 11, winning them an ARIA for Best Dance for single âChameleonâ which they followed with popular singles "River" (with Ladyhawke) (2020), "Stranger Love" (with Budjerah) (2021) and "You Know What I Need" (2022). Showing no signs of slowing down, Pnau unveiled their 6th album, Hyperbolic in March, 2024, preceded by singles "The Hard Way" (feat. Khalid), "Stars" (feat. Bebe Rexha and Ozuna), and "AEIOU" (feat. Empire of the Sun). The album earned a nomination for Best Independent Dance or Electronica Album or EP at the 2025 AIR Awards. Pnau also remixed Sophie Ellis-Bextorâs âMurder on the Dancefloorâ and released âThe Feelingâ in 2024, before joining Kungs on âLight Me Upâ in 2025. In 2026, they collaborated with Meduza on âRollin,â the Warning on the bilingual âTu Corazón (Your Heart),â and EARTHGANG and sadMONTH on âNirvana.â After undertaking their first regional Australian tour, Pnau released their seventh album, Ahhcade, on July 31, 2026 through etcetc. Also featuring âCrashâ with Maleigh Zan and âChemistryâ with Master Peace, the record expanded their electronic pop through rock, hip-hop, and international collaborations.
