Biography

Pivit, an American punk rock band from San Diego County, California, was formed in late 1994 by Mark McLemore on drums, Chris Moore as lead singer, and Eric Sisson on guitar. Their initial steps included recording the demo Find the Fuzz in 1995. Pivit released their debut album, Pressure, in 1996 under Red Eye Records, which featured notable tracks such as "Tell Me" and "Open Book". The band gained traction with subsequent albums Millennium (1998) and Thanks for Coming Back (2002), the latter produced by Ryan Greene. They opened for prominent bands like Blink-182, Incubus, and Pennywise, earning critical acclaim. Music videos were shot for "Oddessy" in 1998 and "Fingercuffs" in 2002. Pivit disbanded in 2003, with reunion shows occurring in 2008, 2009, and 2015. Their songs were featured in various media, including the video game Crazy Taxi and the TV series BlueTorch.
