Biography

Pito Pérez was a rock band from Guadalajara, Mexico, formed in 2000 by Miguel Méndez, Abraham Bustos, and Jorge Chávez. Their debut album, Con Más Poder, was released in 2002, featuring singles such as "5 o 6" and "Lupita." The band toured extensively across Mexico and Colombia, performing at festivals like Música Por La Tierra and Vive Latino. In 2001, they won the Hard Rock Stage contest, securing a recording contract. Their second album, Tal y Cual, was released in 2004 under Warner Music, produced by Álex González of Maná. Pito Pérez disbanded in September 2006 but reunited in October 2010, releasing their first new song in a decade, "Esclavos de la Luna," in 2014.
