Biography

Phantom, Rocker & Slick was an American rock band formed in 1983. The group consisted of Slim Jim Phantom on drums and vocals, Lee Rocker on double bass and lead vocals, and Earl Slick on guitar and vocals. Phantom and Rocker had previously played together as members of the Stray Cats. After the Stray Cats disbanded, they recruited Earl Slick. Their first album, Phantom, Rocker & Slick, was released in 1985 on EMI Records. The album peaked at number 62 on the Billboard 200, with its lead single "Men Without Shame" reaching number 7 on the Top Rock Tracks chart. The band's second album, Cover Girl, was released in 1986 but performed poorly, peaking at only number 181 on the Billboard 200. This led to their disbandment later that year.
