Biography

Peter Gelderblom (born 27 September 1965 in Gouda, Netherlands) is a Dutch DJ and house music producer who began performing in clubs in Rotterdam in 1979, drawing early inspiration from artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire and Ohio Players. After years of club work and radio broadcasting, Gelderblom’s breakthrough came in 2007 with the single “Waiting 4”, which peaked at number 37 on the Dutch Top 40. He followed this success with the compilation Waiting 4(2007), the single “Join Ur Handz” (with DJ Chus, 2008), the EP Just A Feeling (2010), Satisfaction (2011), and later releases including “Funky Fever” and “Feel the Sunrise” (2006) and “Nu Nu” (2015), each contributing to his presence in the Dutch club scene. Notable singles such as “We Built This House” (2014) and collaborations with DJs such as Dj Chus, Muzikjunki, and Dominica expanded his reach. Gelderblom’s work has been featured on Dutch radio stations including Radio Decibel. Throughout his career, he maintained a presence in clubs, co-operating with his wife at the club Revolution, and continued to release music across multiple compilations and singles.
