Petal is an American indie rock and emo band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States, formed in 2013. The band consists of one permanent member, Kiley Lotz, with the rest of the band a rotating group of musicians. Their initial breakthrough came with the self-released EP Scout (2013), which caught the attention of Run For Cover Records, leading to a record deal. Their debut full-length album, Shame (2015), featured the single "Sooner". The band's second album, Magic Gone (2018), was preceded by the single "Better Than You". Petal co-headlined a United States tour with Camp Cope in 2018, followed by a worldwide tour in 2019, including stops in the United States, Europe, the UK, and Japan. Other notable releases include the EP Comfort (2017).
