Per Grazia Ricevuta, often abbreviated as P.G.R., was an Italian band led by Giovanni Lindo Ferretti. The group formed after Ferretti's previous project Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti disbanded. Their name, meaning "For a Received Grace", reflected Ferretti's rediscovery of his Catholic roots. They released a debut album Per grazia ricevuta (2002), followed by the live album Montesole 29 giugno 2001 (2003) and D'anime e d'animali (2004). In 2006, they performed a tour around Italy entitled Ripasso / Ribassi - Saldi, fino ad esaurimento scorte. Their final album Ultime notizie di cronaca (2009) was released before they announced their dissolution. A final album ConFusione - 9 canzoni disidratate da Franco Battiato (2010), featuring Franco Battiato, was issued the following year.
