Paul Capsis is an Australian actor, singer, and playwright known for his work in cabaret and musical theatre. He began his career with roles in theatrical productions such as The Cockroach Opera (1992) and The Caucasian Chalk Circle (1998). His breakthrough in music came with the release of his first album, Paul Capsis Live, in 2004. He followed this with Boulevard Delirium (2005), which earned him a Helpmann Award for Best Performance in an Australian Contemporary Concert in 2006. Subsequent albums include Everybody Wants to Touch Me (2008) and Make Me a King (2010). Capsis also appeared in films such as Head On (1998), The Boy Castaways (2013), and the telemovie Carlotta (2014). His autobiographical one-man play, Angela's Kitchen, premiered in 2010.
