Biography

Pangaea, an Australian punk and metal band from Brisbane, was formed by Ben Ely, Dave Atkins, and Jim Sinclair. The group initially released extended plays Serpent Fire (1993) and Raggacore (1994) on Valve Records. Their debut album Freibentos was released in 1997 on Valve and EastWest labels, featuring 23 tracks and taking around five years to complete. Jim Sinclair later left the band due to Ben Elyâs involvement with Regurgitator and was replaced by Paul Bromley. The original lineup reunited in 2011.
