Argentine singer Palo, born Paloma López DÃaz in RÃo Cuarto, Córdoba, first gained attention performing with her sister Morena in the pop duo PYM before moving to Buenos Aires in 2022 to launch her solo career. Her debut EP Estamos Jugando was released on December 15, 2023 through Syskon Music, showcasing her mix of pop and R&B in collaboration with producers John and Chris Anderson. In 2024, Palo continued to establish herself with singles including "Mallorca - Kasset Session Vol. 3" in May and "Cuánto Me Gustas" later that month, followed by the live project PALO â Huella Sessions in September and the collaboration "No Puedes Evitarlo" with Lucas Löw in November. Entering 2025, she released "Controlo el tiempo" on March 28, "Levitar" on June 19, and "donde sea" on July 3, further developing her groove-oriented sound. On August 18, 2025, she unveiled "HACELA CORTA MOROCHO" through Zil Distribution and Syskon Music, a track built around a reggae-inspired rhythm that quickly became her breakthrough hit and signature release.
