Biography

Palisades, a post-hardcore band from Iselin, New Jersey, formed in 2008 as Marilyn Is Dead. They renamed themselves Palisades in August 2011 and released their first EP, I'm Not Dying Today, in February 2012. Their debut full-length album, Outcasts, was released in 2013 and debuted at number 181 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Subsequent albums included Mind Games (2015), Palisades ( 2017), and Erase the Pain (2018). The band underwent several lineup changes, notably adding Brandon Elgar as bassist and vocalist in 2016. Their final album, Reaching Hypercritical, was released in July 2022. Palisades announced their disbandment in January 2023 and played their final show on February 25, 2023.
