Vincenzo Mattera, known professionally as Paky, was born on 28 November 1999 in Naples, Campania, and emerged as a rap artist. Growing up in Secondigliano and Fuorigrotta, he moved to Milan at age ten, where he discovered rap through a CoâSang video and cultivated an interest in Italian and international hipâhop. Paky released his debut single "Tutti i Miei Fra" in early 2019, followed by "Paky Freestyle" and the breakthrough track "Rozzi" on 2 October 2019, which achieved platinum certification by the Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana for 70,000 units sold. The success attracted Universal Music Groupâs Island Records, leading to collaborations with Guè, Marracash, and Sfera Ebbasta, while singles "Tuta Black", "Non Scherzare", "Boss", and "In Piazza" earned gold status. In 2022, Paky released the studio album Salvatore on 11 March, debuting at number one on the FIMI Albums chart and attaining platinum certification within three months; the deluxe edition Salvatore Vive followed later that year. The artist embarked on the Salvatore Live Tour, covering major Italian cities. Subsequent releases include the single "Sharm El Sheikh" (October 2022), "Tirana" (February 2023), "Street Life" (September 2024), and the second studio album GLORIA (12 December 2025), which reached number 3 on the Italian chart.
