Pacho y Cirilo was a Puerto Rican reggaetón duo composed of Neftalà Ãlvarez Núñez (Pacho, later known as Pacho El Antifeka) and Julio Ãngel Lago Ferrer (Cirilo), who rose from the islandâs mixtape circuit around 2010 and formalized their run after launching the Alqaedas Inc imprint with Kendo Kaponi in 2011. They built early traction with street singles such as âMe van a darâ with Julio Voltio, Ãengo Flow, Maximus Wel and others, âMi combo jalaâ with Jory Boy, and âDicen que vienen por mÃâ with D.Ozi, then widened their audience in 2012 with cuts like âElla quiere.â The duoâs breakthrough arrived with the studio album Los Dueños de la Calle con Humildad & Respeto (2013), a collaborative set that featured âVinimos a joderâ with Jowell & Randy, âMatemos esas ganasâ with De La Ghetto, âEl gran paloâ with Polaco, âComo antesâ with Jory Boy and Kendo Kaponi, âPregúntale a la lunaâ with Divino, and âAquà en esta prisiónâ with J Ãlvarez, consolidating their name across Puerto Rico and Latin urban markets. They kept momentum through 2014 with standouts including âEl que tenga miedo que se quiteâ with Cosculluela and its remix, and âOdiada por muchas (Remix)â with Daddy Yankee, J Ãlvarez, and De La Ghetto. In 2015 they issued the single âNo Tengas Miedoâ and capped a prolific phase with the compilation series Los Alqaedas Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3, alongside high-profile collaborations such as âNos vamos a criterioâ and âLa disco se encendióâ both with Farruko and guests. Activity slowed as each artist pursued solo workâPacho later released the album All-Star Game (2021)âand the duoâs story closed tragically when Pacho was killed in 2023, leaving a catalog remembered for its hard-edged hooks, dense feature lists, and a defining role in Puerto Ricoâs 2010s wave of street reggaetón.
