Emanuel Amaro Cruz, known professionally as Amaro, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton artist celebrated for his versatility and dedication to urban music. Born on August 4, 1980, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, he grew up immersed in creative and musical influences, with his motherâs background in theater and singing sparking his artistic curiosity. Amaro began his musical journey under the mentorship of Chencho Corleone from Plan B, gaining exposure through concert tours and collaborations with reggaeton icons like Ãengo Flow, Ãejo, Dálmata, and Kevin Roldán. His 2005 breakout hit "Mujeres en el club" remains a fan favorite, showcasing his ability to blend reggae and urban rhythms.
