Pablo Gad, born in Jamaica and later based in the United Kingdom, is a British Jamaican Conscious Roots reggae singer and songwriter. He began recording in the late 1970s with singles such as "International Dread" and "Kunta Kinte". His breakthrough came in 1978 with the release of "Blood Suckers", which was followed by his debut album Trafalgar Square in 1979. Throughout the 1980s, Gad released several notable albums including Hard Times (1980) and Life Without Death (1993). His music was sampled by artists like The Prodigy and Nu Matic.
