Biography

Born on September 28, 1999 in the northern Gabonese province of Woleu-Ntem, Chris Allogho Mba made a name for himself shortly after reaching adulthood under the pseudonym Pablito Traducteur. Attracted to music, he unveiled his first single in 2020, entitled "Cours petit joueur". The rhythm-driven electronic production reflects his attraction to the aesthetics of rap and Afro-pop, between sung and rapped text. Spotted by the country's emerging talent watchers, Pablito Traducteur followed up the next year with "Chauffer" (2021) and "Je ne suis pas un bangando " (2021) featuring Star-F. It was a second featuring that got his career off the ground a few months later: the rap on "La taille ya pas quelqu'un" (2021) with Darryl garnered several hundred thousand listens. The following year, the rapper released his first album, Mbandzaï (2022) on News Talent The Label 241, which established him a little more firmly on the Gabonese music scene. The first of these sixteen tracks, "Lililili" with La Santi Lova, hooked the audience and motivated Pablito Traducteur, who in 2023 unveiled a new collaborative EP, La Santi Lova, whose more electronic sounds, their complicity and style led to an international tour that included a stop in France.
