Biography
Singer, model and actress Nancy Vanessa Nkara Assoumou, known as Nancy Van Nkara, was born in Libreville, Gabon, on September 4, 1990. She is a graduate of the National School of Art and Manufacture, Dramatic Art section, and has been working for the Ministry of Culture since 2015, directing the Théâtre National de Libreville. After starring in a number of films, taking part in fashion shows and being elected Miss Macao (named after a nightclub in Libreville) 2018, she launched her musical career. In 2019, she released a three-track Ep, NVM, containing "Je ne veux pas te perdre" (I don't want to lose you ), which will be released as a video, "relation sans fond" (bottomless relationship ) and "Jusqu'à Quand" (Until When ). Considered a rising zouk star, she released several singles, including "La patience" in 2020, "Vie qui brille " in 2021 and "Encore et encore" in 2023.
