Biography

Os Garotin is a Brazilian trio from SÃ£o GonÃ§aloâAnchietx (R&B/rap), Leo Guima (soul), and Cupertino (MPB)âwho organically came together in 2019 at Cupertinoâs birthday gathering before launching their collective musical journey under the guidance of manager Paula Lavigne; they independently released their debut EP Os Garotin Session (2023), featuring standout tracks like âZero a Cem,â âCarinha de NenÃ©m,â âPouco a Pouco,â âMais Uma HistÃ³ria de Amor,â and âQueda Livre,â with each member featuring on a song they penned. They broke out more broadly in May 2024 with their first full-length album Os Garotin de SÃ£o GonÃ§alo, led by the single âCalor do Momento,â which helped land them three Latin Grammy nominations (Best New Artist, Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese, and Best Sound Engineering) and ultimately secured the Grammy for Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese. Individually, the trio continued to nurture their solo creativity, releasing individual EPsâSÃ³ Vem by Leo Guima (2023) and Lucas by Anchietx and Mais Uma HistÃ³ria de Amor by Cupertino (both 2024)âwhile their collaborative sound matured with new standalone singles through early 2025 like âNossa Resenhaâ (featuring Caetano Veloso), âcurva escura,â and âBola De Meia, Bola De Gude,â reinforcing their reputation as a soul-infused, genre-blending voice in modern Brazilian pop.
