YourBoyfriend is the project of Spanish DJ, producer and singer Alejandra Santana, who first worked in electronic music before moving closer to Latin urban music in Colombia. Her early public profile included DJ and production work, with Colombian press later noting collaborations with artists including Axwell, Zion and Lennox. In 2019, YourBoyfriend released “El Plan” with Kiddos through RedWine/Supreme Firm. After that first single, she returned with a more defined urbano latino direction in 2023, releasing “Obra De Arte” with Maelh, “Volar” with Sai and “Siete” with Colombian pop group TIMØ. In 2024, YourBoyfriend continued that collaborative run with “Sunrise”, recorded with Panamanian singer Joey Montana, followed by “Ajá Yiabe (Old Money)” with Orlandorqm. That same year, she appeared as the special guest for Heineken’s 150th anniversary events in Colombia, with dates announced in Bogotá, Tunja, Bucaramanga, Medellín, Cali and Cartagena. In 2026, YourBoyfriend released the solo single “Tenaz”, continuing the urbano latino direction of her latter work.
