Oren Lavie, born on June 13, 1976 in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a singer and author. He began his artistic journey in Israel before moving to London to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. His breakthrough came with the release of "Her Morning Elegance" in 2007, which gained significant attention through its innovative stop-motion video directed by Lavie himself. This single was part of his debut album, The Opposite Side Of The Sea, which also featured notable tracks such as "A Dream Within a Dream", "Locked in a Room", and "Blue Smile". In May 2017, he released his second album, Bedroom Crimes. Lavie's work has been recognized with multiple awards, including nominations for the Grammy Awards in December 2009 for "Best Short Form Music Video" and the ASCAP Foundation Award.
