Biography
Open Hand, an American rock band, was formed in Hollywood, California, in 1997 by guitarist/vocalist Justin Isham, bassist Michael Anastasi, and drummer Alex Rodriguez. The group released their first two EPs, Radio Days and Evolution, on American Propaganda Records in 1999 and 2000, respectively. In 2003, they signed with Trustkill Records, which issued The Dream. Anastasi left the band between 2003 and 2005, replaced by Paul Malinowski. The band released their debut full-length album, You and Me, in 2005 on Trustkill / Roadrunner Records. Following extensive world tours from 2005 to 2009, Open Hand released their next album, Honey, on Anodyne Records in 2010. A remixed, remastered version of Honey was released for its 10th anniversary in 2020, followed by the album Weirdo in 2021.
