Novulent, born June 6, 2004, is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Dallas, Texas. They began releasing music independently in 2022 with the album My Story before gaining widespread attention in 2023, when the singles "Savior" and "Scars" went viral on social media. "Scars" later entered the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), leading to a recording contract with Capitol Records. Novulent has since released the albums My Story 2 (2023), Vol. 1 (2023), and Dear Diary (2024), along with the EPs Untold Story (2023), Secret Letters (2024), and Before Evolution (2025). Their music blends shoegaze and dream pop with elements of alternative metal, nu metal, grunge, and slowcore.
