Biography

Noelle Otsihsera Maracle (December 27, 2000), known mononymously as Noelle, is a Canadian R&B singer-songwriter from Tyendinaga, Ontario. Born into a family of Mohawk, Scottish, and Irish heritage, she first rose to fame after winning YTV's Virtual Next Star competition and later grew a devoted online following through a series of cover versions posted on her personal video-streaming channel. After graduating high school in 2017, Noelle inked a deal with Canadian indie label Wax Records, which released her debut single "Sad World" in 2020. This was followed by the release of several other well-received singles such as "Shades of Blue" (2020), "Therapy" (2021), and "Hope You're Happy" (2021), all of which effortlessly combined R&B, pop, and urban music to create an alluring sonic landscape. 30k, her debut EP, appeared in 2022. That same year, Noelle continued honing her craft on the singles "Stupid," "Cold Killer," and "Daydreaming," an irresistible pop track featuring Virginia to Vegas that entered the Canadian charts at Number 43.
