The band originally featured guitarist Choi Joonseok, drummer Kim Hanshin, and bassist Choi Wooyoung, with Lee Hyeonghoon joining the lineup in 2014. The group gained initial recognition in 2011 following their appearance on the television program EBS Hello Rookie Contest. In 2012, the band released its debut studio album, Why Perish, which was recognized by the publication Music Y as the third best rookie release of the year.
