No Respect for Beauty is a South Korean post-rock band formed in Seoul in August 2010. The band originally featured guitarist Choi Joonseok, drummer Kim Hanshin, and bassist Choi Wooyoung, with Lee Hyeonghoon joining the lineup in 2014. The group gained initial recognition in 2011 following their appearance on the television program EBS Hello Rookie Contest. In 2012, the band released its debut studio album, Why Perish, which was recognized by the publication Music Y as the third best rookie release of the year. The group also performed as contestants on the KBS 2TV competition series Topband 2 and embarked on a national tour. Their performance history includes a set at the Pentaport Rock Festival in 2014. Critics from Weiv and Indiepost noted the band for their technical instrumental compositions and balanced, restrained style. No Respect for Beauty became inactive in 2014 following their comeback solo concert.
