Ning Yizhuo (born on October 23, 2002, in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China), known as Ningning, is a Chinese singer and dancer. Participating in TV shows like China's Got Talent, Come on! Youth School, China's New Voice Generation, Ningning finally gained recognition after winning the I'm Maiba karaoke competition in 2014. Starting as a trainee with SM Entertainment in 2016, Ningning was revealed as a member of girl group aespa in November 2020. The group debuted on November 17, 2020, with their single "Black Mamba" seeing NingNing soon becoming a fan favourite. Working on her own solo career, she dropped the single "Our Summer" for the Youth Fantasy web drama soundtrack in 2021, collaborating on "Snow Dream" with Yeri, Haechan, Chenle, & Jisung, and taking home the Rookie of the Year award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in the same year. In 2022, she released "Time After Time" (with BoA & Wendy) and "Good to Be Alive" (with HYO, Key, Chen, Johnny, GINJO, Raiden, IMLAY & Mar Vista), this time earning a nomination for the Best New Female Artist award at the 2022 Golden Disc Awards. In 2023, she teamed up with rapper Jay Park on the track "WYA," which debuted at number 67.
