Biography
Born in New England, Niia Bertino, who performs professionally with just her first name, studied classical piano as a child and attended the Berklee College of Music and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York. In 2007 she featured on rapper Wyclef Jean's single 'Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)' along with Akon and Lil Wayne. It went to number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Niia went on to a New York stage show 'The Best of 007' performing songs from James Bond movies. She released a single 'Made for You' in 2013 and collaborated with Danish producer Robin Hannibal for her debut EP 'Generation Blue'.
