Nick Curly is a German DJ and producer born Nico Döhringer in Mannheim. He began his professional career in 1995 performing at local clubs. In 2004, he released his debut EP, Craving, through his label Amused 8bit. He rebranded the company as 8bit Records in 2006 in collaboration with the producer Gorge. Curly co-founded the label Cécille in 2007 with Marc Scholl and began performing internationally. In 2009, he established regular summer residencies on Ibiza and performed at festivals including Time Warp, Sonus Festival, and Awakenings. His discography included the studio recording Between the Lines (2012) and the EPs Critical Mass EP (2008) and Piano in the Dark EP (2013). He also released the tracks âPujanteâ (2009), âSun Cityâ (2011), and âWake Me Upâ (2013). In 2014, he released the compilation recording In the House.
