Nichts, a German band from Düsseldorf, was formed in 1981. The group initially consisted of Tobias Brink on drums and Michael Clauss on guitar, both former members of the punk band KFC. After leaving KFC, they recruited Christopher Scarbeck on bass and Andrea Mothes as lead vocalist. Their debut album Made in Eile was released in 1981 on Schallmauer Records and featured the hit single "Radio". The album gained significant attention, leading to a major label deal with WEA Records. Nichts' second album, Tango 2000, was released in 1982 and peaked at number 22 on the German charts, where it remained for 15 weeks. Following the release of their third album, Aus Dem Jenseits, in 1983, the band disbanded. In 2009, the band's founder, Michael Clauss, received an inquiry from the organizers of the Judgement Day festival in Dornbirn and subsequently decided to perform there again under the name Nichts. A studio album titled Zeichen Auf Sturm was released in 2011.
