New Cinema Tokage is a Japanese rock band that formed in 1997 and made their major label debut in 1999 on GIZA studio. Their genre was based on alternative rock and pop rock, and they were known for their fast-paced sound and literary lyrics. The band consisted of Motoyu Funaki (vocals), Yuichiro Iwai (guitar), Keisuke Kurumatani (drums), and Hiroyuki Wakita (bass). Their representative works include the albums "Rail" (1999) and "MANY ELEMENTS" (2001), and the songs " CaNDY LiFe " and "Believe myself" (1999), "mystery world" (2000), "Lovely Generation ~goes&fights~" (2001), and "LOVE" (2001). & fights" (2001). In particular, "Believe myself" became popular as the ending theme for the TV anime "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo.
