Biography
Neil Leyton, born in Lisbon, Portugal, is a Portuguese-Canadian singer and guitarist. He began his music career as a founding member of The Conscience Pilate from 1995 to 1998, before embarking on a solo career with the release of Down Secret Avenue With the Last Lovers in 1999. Leyton's subsequent albums include From The Brighter Side Of Her Midnight Sun (2002) and The Betrayal Of The Self (2006), which featured collaborations with musicians Nicke Andersson and Dregen. The same album was reissued in 2016 under Altafonte. His group, Lusitanian Ghosts, released the album Lusitanian Ghosts III in 2023. Chordophone Rock N Roll is the band's compilation album released in 2025.
