Biography
Mystic Prophecy, a German power metal band from Bad Grönenbach, was formed in 2000 by R.D. Liapakis and Martin Albrecht. Their initial lineup included Gus G on guitar, who contributed to their first three albums: Vengeance (2001), Regressus (2003), and Never-Ending (2004). After Gus G left in 2005, the band continued with several lineup changes. Their ninth album, War Brigade (2016), became their best-selling release to date. In January 2018, the band released Monuments Uncovered, an album of metal covers of famous rock hits from the '70s and '80s. Their eleventh album, Metal Division (2020), reached number 20 on the German charts. The band's current lineup includes R.D. Liapakis on vocals, Markus Pohl on rhythm guitar, Evan K on lead guitar, Hanno Kerstan on drums, and Joey Roxx on bass.
