Biography

MV & EE is a Vermont-based group of musicians centered around partners Matt "MV" Valentine and Erika "EE" Elder. The duo began their musical journey with a unique blend of Indian raga style composition, Appalachian folk, and post-psychedelic electrical experimentalism. Their debut album, Tonight! One Night Only! MV & EE In Heaven, was released in 2001 under the label Child of Microtones. Throughout their career, they released numerous albums including Daybreak Of Cocola & The Plumage Overtones Of Black Patti (2003), Lunar Blues (2004), and Green Blues (2006). Their style, self-described as "lunar ragas," often featured celestial imagery in the lyrics. MV & EE also released singles such as "The Best It Ever Was" and "Old Black Joe". Their music was recognized for its unique fusion of genres, contributing to their distinct place in the rock music landscape.
