Biography

Museum of Love is an American electronic and dance-punk band from Brooklyn, New York, that formed in 2013. The group was established by the LCD Soundsystem drummer Pat Mahoney and the musician Dennis McNany. They achieved an early breakthrough with the release of the singles “Down South” (2013) and “Monotronic” (2013) through DFA Records. Their eponymous debut studio album, Museum of Love, was released (2014) and was followed by several remixes for artists such as Zoé and Mark E. After a four-year hiatus from recording, the ensemble released the track “Marching Orders” (2018) and the single “Cluttered World” (2021). Their second studio album, Life of Mammals, was released (2021).
