Mundwerk-Crew, a hip-hop group from the Chiemgau region of Germany, was founded in 2007 by Tobias Klauser (alias Touze), Sebastian Riepp (alias Sebaino), and Maximilian Niedergünzl (alias Dj Maximi). The trio released their first self-distributed record, Reimwandfrei, early that year. Mundwerk-Crew's debut album, Brot für die Szene, was released in 2011, featuring a blend of hip-hop, funk, reggae, and experimental elements. They gained regional recognition through live performances and support shows with notable acts like Beginner and Dendemann. The group expanded into a full live band by 2011, adding Christian Schnitter on drums, Michael Stettmeier on bass, Fabian Jungreithmayr on guitar, and Gerhard Vorauer on keyboards; Thomas Straub joined on trumpet in 2012. Their second album, #logoamstart, was released in 2014 under International Bohemia. The band's third album, komplementär, was released in 2017 by F.A.M.E. Artist Recordings GmbH. Mundwerk-Crew has performed over 200 concerts domestically and abroad and shared the stage with artists such as LaBrassBanda and Wanda.
