Morthem Vlade Art, a French electropop group formed in 1995 by Emmanuell D. and Gregg Anthe, initially gained prominence within the dark music movement. Their debut album Herbo Dou Diable (1998) showcased a baroque style with neo-classical ambiances, industrial percussions, and death rock rhythms. The group signed with Pandaimonium Records in 1998 and continued to evolve musically, releasing albums like Organic But Not Mental (2000), which featured electronic symphonic sounds and industrial themes. Their subsequent works included Antechamber (2001) and Photography in Things (2003). Morthem Vlade Art disbanded in 2005 but returned in 2018, releasing albums such as Afternoons (2020), Quirky Dance Memory, and Hard Logic (both 2021).
