Biography

Bella Lune is an American darkwave and dreampop band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2007. The group was established by singer-songwriter Fuchsia Angel and guitarist Kal3id after the pair discovered shared musical interests. The band's debut studio album, Abstracted Visions, was released in 2007 on the Aetheria Music label. The album's atmospheric sound led critics to compare the group to acts such as The Cure and Cocteau Twins. The band's second album, Synesthesia, appeared in 2010, followed by the single "Ophelia". During this period, the group performed its first international shows with a mini-tour of Japan in 2010 and a European tour in 2012. The third album, Secrets, was released in 2013, marking a stylistic shift toward a more organic sound, and it was the final release to feature founding member Kal3id. In 2015, Bella Lune released its fourth album, Tranzendance, which featured percussion and production from Mike Jenney of Alter Der Ruine. The group's discography continued with the album Covers Vol. 1 (2018) and the studio album Stardust (2019). The band has contributed tracks to charity compilations such as DeathMass Six to support LGBT families and has donated proceeds to the organization musicandmemory.org. In 2024, the band released the album Chasing Shadows, and in 2025, released the single "Easier Than Lying".
