Morgan Cryar, born February 24, 1958, in Louisiana, is a singer and songwriter known for his work in contemporary Christian music. His debut album, Keep No Secrets, was released in 1984. Cryar's breakthrough came with his 1986 album Fuel on the Fire, which included the chart-topping single "Pray in the U.S.A." This song was nominated for a Dove Award for best video. His subsequent albums Kingdom Upside Down (1990) and Love Over Gold (1995) featured hits such as "Father" and "If I Never See a Miracle", both of which reached Number 1 on Christian radio charts. In the 2000s, he transitioned to record production, founding Premier Records. As of 2007, Cryar was CEO of Singing Success, Inc., and resided in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and seven children.
