Biography
Originally from Zurich, Monoh (Roger Odermatt) is a Swiss musician, sitarist, composer, and producer whose work blends Indian classical music with ambient, electronic, âworld,â psychedelic, and downtempo influences. After studying the sitar with Indian masters, he developed a unique intercultural sound that combines traditional instrumentation with modern production. Under the name Monoh, he has released several critically acclaimed productions and collaborations, including the EP Monoh (2019) and the album Stellar, Sitar, Echoes (2025). In addition to the EP Transformation (2025), Monoh has also released the singles âAll of Meâ featuring Jazmine Johnson and âFendiâ featuring Pritt, which reached No. 11 on the UKâs Top 20 British Asian Music chart in 2026.
