Biography
MonkeyJunk is a Canadian rock band formed in Ottawa, Ontario, in 2008. The group consists of Steve Marriner on vocals and instruments, Tony Diteodoro on lead guitar, and Matt Sobb on drums and percussion. MonkeyJunk released their debut album Tiger in Your Tank independently in 2009, followed by To Behold in 2011, which won the Juno Award for Blues Album of the Year in 2012. Subsequent albums include All Frequencies (2013), Moon Turn Red (2015), and Time to Roll (2016). The band has been frequent winners at the Maple Blues Awards, earning multiple accolades including Entertainer of the Year in 2009. MonkeyJunk maintains an active touring schedule across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
