Molly Burch, born October 23, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, is an American singer-songwriter. Raised by parents involved in the film industry, she studied jazz vocal performance at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and was influenced by vocalists such as Nina Simone and Billie Holiday. Her music career began with the release of her debut single "Downhearted" in 2016. Burch released her debut album, Please Be Mine, on February 17, 2017, through Captured Tracks. She followed with First Flower (October 5, 2018), The Molly Burch Christmas Album (November 15, 2019), and Romantic Images (July 23, 2021).
