Biography
Born in Naples, Italian DJ and producer Mimmo Falcone, known professionally as MoBlack, has been shaping the Afro-house music landscape with a rich melodic sound since the early 2010s, breaking out in 2017 with a string of well-received singles. He cut his teeth as a DJ at an early age, going on to work in FM radio before building the foundations of his career during his experience of living in Ghana. He kicked off his production work in 2012 and has spent the past decade flying the flag for Afro-house at numerous high-profile DJ sets, on various labels such as Defected Records and with popular releases such as 2024's single "Yamore," featuring Cesária Evora, Benja, and Franc Fala, which entered the charts in Switzerland.
