Misty Dawn Edwards, born on January 19, 1979, in Andrews, Texas, is an American singer known for her work in contemporary Christian worship music. Introduced to music by her mother, who was a music teacher, Misty began her musical journey at a young age. At 19, she became a worship leader at International House of Prayer (IHOP). Edwards' recording career started with the release of Eternity in December 2003 through Forerunner Music. Subsequent albums include Relentless (December 2007) and Only a Shadow (March 2013), which peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart and number 107 on the Billboard 200. Her final album, Little Bird, released in December 2014, also reached number 7 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart.
