Biography

Miss Monday, born on October 13, 1976, in Japan, is a singer and rapper known for her contributions to hip-hop and R&B music. She began her career in 2000 with the release of singles such as “もっと...” and “JIKANRYKOU” under I.D. Records. Her breakthrough came with the single “MONDAY FREAK” released on November 21, 2001, leading to her signing with Epic Records Japan, where she recorded several albums including Free Ya in March 2002 and NATURAL in April 2003. Notable songs from these albums include “Lady meets girl” and “Soul Flower”. Miss Monday collaborated with various artists such as Sowelu, JAMOSA, and Youngshim throughout her career. In 2006 she released the album &I, followed by Love & The Light (w/a white lie) in April 2009. Her later albums included Beautiful in 2010 and &U in 2011. Miss Monday retired from the music industry in 2018, leaving behind a significant body of work that spanned nearly two decades.
