Miss $ is a South Korean hip hop group formed in 2008 by Brand New Stardom, a former joint venture between Stardom Entertainment and Brand New Music. The duo currently consists of Jace and Kang Minâhee, with former members Oh Yuâmi and Tae Hyeâyoung contributing to early releases. Their debut single, "Donât Cheat", launched on 18â¯Novemberâ¯2008, establishing their presence in the Korean music scene. In 2009, the group released their debut studio album S Class on 26â¯August, followed by Miss Independent on 10â¯Septemberâ¯2010 and the EP Pro. Miss. U on 22â¯Octoberâ¯2010. Subsequent albums Miss_Terious on 22â¯Novemberâ¯2011 and Lo$t & Found on 19â¯Julyâ¯2013 expanded their discography, while EPs Miss Us? on 25â¯Octoberâ¯2012 and Miss_Terious continued to showcase their evolving sound. Notable singles include "Stop Smoking" on 26â¯Septemberâ¯2012, "Can I Just live" on 17â¯Decemberâ¯2013, and "Donât Speak Without Soul" on 10â¯Marchâ¯2016. In 2021, the group released Older & None The Wiser featuring Jung SeulâGi and KANTO. The track "Would I do this if it weren't that bad (feat. Jung Seul Gi, Lim Da Hea)" on the album Miss_Terious (2011) entered Melon's Top 100 Singles MelOn chart at rank 87 in January 2012.
