Jung Seong-won, known professionally as BOYCOLD, was born on June 21, 1995, in Incheon, Republic of Korea. He is a producer and rapper who gained prominence in the Korean hip-hop scene. BOYCOLD's career began with the release of his first EP, Post Youth, on April 29, 2019. This was followed by his debut single "Youth!" on October 25, 2018. He gained further recognition as a producer on the television show Show Me The Money 8 in 2019. BOYCOLD released his second EP, Daft Love, on July 14, 2022. His work includes producing the soundtrack for the television series Hip Hop King Pt. 4. The track "Traveler" on his EP BOYCOLD 3, released on November 19, 2025, entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 13 the day after it was released.
