Born in 1975 in Quebec (Canada), Millimetrik, whose real name is Pascal Asselin, is a Quebec composer, DJ and electronic producer. He launched his career in 2003 with the album Variety Is the Spice of Life. He went on to release several albums in the 2000s, including Deeper Transmissions in 2004, Lo-Fi Love, with IXE-13, in 2005, The Last Polar Bear on Earth, in 2006, I Am You Are Me, in 2007, Northwest Passage's New Era, in 2008, where he received his first ADISQ nomination, and Quatre à Quatre in 2009. Millimetrik released five more albums during the 2010 decade: Mystique Drums (2010), Read Between the Rhymes (2012), Lonely Lights (2014), Fog Dreams (2016) and Make It Last Forever (2018), which earned him his first career Félix at the ADISQ gala, in the Electronic Music Album of the Year category. He wins a second in 2022, with his 2021 album Sun-Drenched.
