Christie and Loui Miller are two English twins born in Stonehenge. They began playing guitar together at the age of eleven, and a few years later were playing in local clubs and pubs to pay for their studies. In 2009, they began working on an album demo with Peter Gabriel's musicians at Real World Studios in Bath. After a detour to the U.S. to put their Fleetwood Mac and Dixie Chicks-inspired folk-pop to the test, it was under the name Millers Daughter that they turned to the UK division of the participatory label MyMajor Company for funding. The funding target is reached with the August 2014 release of the album So Hollywood. In autumn 2014, a version of the song "Undeniable", featuring Frenchman Nicom, brings Millers Daughter to the fore in France.
