Biography

Under a very strange pseudonym, Milkymee plays hide-and-seek with nationalities, countries and styles. French, singing in English and composing in Sweden or Japan, writing film music for an Austrian director, Milkymee has a folk inspiration that sometimes drifts towards a much rockier rage. After Songs for Herr Nicke in 2006, Milkymee composed the soundtrack for the film Domaine with Béatrice Dalle in 2010, before titling her second album with a line borrowed from Notorious B.I.G. To All the Ladies in the Place with Style and Grace once again showcases a raw sensibility and a strong personality. Originally released in February 2010, To All the Ladies in the Place with Style and Grace will be re-released in May 2011, with her first French tour opening for Anna Calvi.
