Biography
Born in Louisiana in 1984, John Stephen Sudduth followed his parents throughout the southern United States during his childhood. Settling in Nashville, Tennessee, in the mid-2000s, he decided to become a songwriter and singer. After first singles recorded with avant-garde hip-hop producer Clams Casino, Mikky Ekko was invited by Rihanna to guest on the track "Stay", taken from her album Unapologetic (2012). This song ranked in the top five in nineteen countries, opening up all kinds of opportunities for him. His album Time! was released in January 2015 with contributions from producers Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, David Sitek and Clams Casino.
